hmmm went to help out at some old folks home at boon keng today. i really got a feel of how difficult it is to communicate with the elderly. its pretty different from talking to my grandparents and stuff, even though they don't know chinese, but somehow i can understand what they are saying and they understand what i say too. perhaps i'm more well versed in my dialect than whatever dialect they are speaking at the home. and some of the old folks are seriously damn smart, the vocab of their dialect is, erm, about the same as my chinese la hahaha erpsss.

err okayy, somehow my kayaking thingy have become an nco-council outing lol.
